Raised in the Methodist church, Bret Walker became a "devout atheist" after graduating high school and wandered many years, serving in the U.S. Army as a mechanic, then transitioning to Information Technology work in the mid 1990s. He returned to faith in 2008 and felt God's call to ministry, which he has been pursuing ever since. Bret is a licensed local pastor at Ebenezer UMC in Auburn, NJ, and Hudson UMC in Pedricktown, NJ. He is also a Psychology/Religion major at the University of the Southwest. Bret lives in Pedricktown with his wife Erin and their youngest son Isaac. He also has two adult children.
