When it comes to spiritual warfare, few things are more effective than the use of prayer. Considering how often the people of the Bible prayed and God responded, it is surprising that we do not pray more often, even though we are called to pray at all times in every situation. Continuing the examination of the whole Armor of God in Ephesians 6, this is part 2 of a two-part message delivered on July 2, 2017 at Pitman Grove Camp Meeting.

Many Christians don't like to admit it or even think about it, but we are in a spiritual battle for our very souls. Spiritual warfare is not physical and doesn't call for physical protection but spiritual armor. In today's reading from Ephesians, Paul describes how the believer is to put on the full armor of God, and we break down what each piece does in the life of the believer. This is part one of a two-part message recorded at Pitman Grove Camp Meeting on July 2, 2017.

In today's world, it is an unpopular thing to defend the Biblical view of marriage. Yet God's word is unchanging and in today's episode, recorded at the Pitman Grove Camp Meeting, we take a long look at some disputed and controversial scriptures as they pertain to the Christian model of love and marriage.

This is a message that was delivered at the Pitman Grove Camp Meeting, on the day after Independence Day. We in America take our freedom for granted, and it is only on special days like July 4th and Memorial Day that we remember that our freedom came at a high cost. Likewise, we as Christians are often ready to embrace our freedom in Christ, without thinking about how much that freedom cost our God. So grab your Bible, turn it to John chapter 8, and prepare your heart and mind as we look at the high cost of freedom. Freedom isn't free.

We begin our fifth year of the podcast with a new Summer 2017 series called "Riches in Romans." Over the course of the Summer months we will be taking an in-depth look at Paul's letter to the church in Rome and peel back the many layers to disclose Paul's manifesto on the grace of God. We begin today by looking at Sin and Grace, defining those words and what they mean for both the follower of Christ and the unbeliever.

Paul's words remind us that there is none righteous, no, not one. If that's the case, then what hope can there be for the sinner? Well today we look at Paul's words to the church in Rome and find that there is, indeed, hope that can only be found in the Grace of God. So grab your Bible, turn it to Romans chapter three, and join us as we look at Grace greater than all our sin.

This week {originally posted in 2014} we begin a new sermon series called "Theology of Ministy," and we will be spending a great deal of time this Summer in the book of Romans. We can learn a lot from Paul's letter to the church in Rome. Today we are looking at what it means to be baptized into death, and raised into newness of life in Christ. So grab your Bible, turn to Romans chapter 6, and join us as we begin to look at the Theology of Ministry.

Well this week we have a bonus sermon, one that I gave a couple years ago when I was a layperson. From the Gospel of John, this message centers on Peter's declaration to Jesus, "You have the words of eternal life." We sometimes forget that we can only be satisfied in Christ. We try to fill our lives with things that the world tells us to value. In this message, from the Summer of 2012, we look at what the world has to offer, and how it pales in comparison to God's abundant grace. So grab your Bible, turn it to John chapter 6, and join us as we look at Christ's words of eternal life.
